A Moorcroft pottery Orchid pattern bowl and cover.
Circa 1950, the hemispherical bowl having a tube-lined circular cover with ball finial and sage green ground, with impressed marks including facsimile signature beneath, 6.25" diameter x 3.5" high, (16cm x 9cm).

A couple of glaze flaws to underside of cover. Two cracks to rolled rim of body. Interior has numerous impurotoes from the kiln trapped beneath the glaze. General light glaze crazing.
