A Regency sampler, 'Rose Shenamon Mitchell Sewn This In 1816', worked in coloured silk threads with central inscription, birds and fountain beneath crowned initials, over a stately home, flanked by verses, trees, birds and initials, all within meandering berry border, 12.75" x 17.5" (32,5cm x 44.5cm) in contemporary inlaid mahogany frame under glass.
