An early 19th century mahogany-cased 8-day painted dial longcase clock.
Anonymous, circa 1830
The 12-inch circular white Roman dial with subsidiary seconds and date dials, the four-pillar movement rack-striking on a bell, the case with three brass ball and spire finals to the break-arched hood over fluted columns flanking a circular-glazed door, the trunk with moulded break-arched long trunk door on plain base and wavy apron, 83.5”, (212cm) high.

Dial has minor flaking but overall good. Movement appears sound, no false plate and no packing to seatboard. Case has minor cracking to cavetto cornice, slight warping to trunk door. Losses to side of plinth.
Sold with two brass-sleeved weights plus pendulum.
