An early Victorian silver desk ink stand, the shaped base having shell moulded and reeded rim supporting three central removable apertures, the whole raised upon four shell and acanthus leaf feet. Hallmarked Robinson, Edkins & Aston, Birmingham 1837. Length measures 9 4/8 inches (24 cm), gross weight 14.36 ozt (446.6 grams). (Lacking bottles).
