Lot Description

A set of seven mid-Victorian cut glass silver mounted dressing table jars, the silver covers monogrammed with foliate border, one jar lacking cover. Hallmarked James Vickery, London 1859. (7).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous abrasions and chips to the glass. One silver cover squashed and compressed, others with dents. Oblong vanity jar with drilled air holes to cover. Two smaller covers apparently unhallmarked.
