Two 20th century silver tankards.

Lot Description
A 1920's small silver tankard, of plain tapering form having engraved personal initials and date, hallmarked Birmingham 1922, height measures 3 6/8 inches (9.5 cm). Together with a larger 1960's silver tankard having presentation engraving to the slight ovoid form and raised upon a short circular foot, Viner's Ltd, Sheffield 1960, height measures 5 inches (12.75 cm). Gross weight 15.34 ozt (477.1 grams).

Condition Report
Smaller tankard displaying heavy tarnishing throughout, slight distortion to rim and small dent to top of handle. Rubbing and wear to hallmarks and so maker's mark is illegible. Larger tankard displaying tarnishing and surface wear throughout with some coloured marks or residue to interior. Hallmarks with light rubbing although still legible.
