An early twentieth century Austrian silver mounted boar tusk cigar cutter, the realistically modelled eagles head set with red stone-set eyes and push button mechanism to the beak. Austrian assay marks for Georg Adam Scheid, Vienna and the standard mark of 900. Maximum length measuring 11 inches (28 cm).

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible. Possible further continental assay marks. Push button mechanism requires attention, it appears to be loose and opens the beak but does not close. Minor hairline fractures to the tusk.
