An early nineteenth century continental, probably German or Austrian, mounted boar tusk cigar cutter, the realistically modelled boars head with hinged jaw cutter and acorn and oak leaf collar. Stamped 925. Maximum length measuring 7 1/2 inches (19 cm).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Tusk with discolouration and hairline fractures. Soft solder repair to the join of the cutter.
