Lot Description

An Edwardian silver pedestal bowl, embossed with floral garlands tied with bows, raised upon a short waisted stem and stepped circular foot, hallmarked A E Goodby & Son, Birmingham 1903, height measures 3 4/8 inches (9 cm). Together with a 1970's silver pedestal dish having a scrolling foliate rim and the whole raised upon a waisted and knopped stem leading to the spreading base, hallmarked A T Cannon Ltd., Birmingham 1973, height measures 4 inches (10 cm), (filled base). Weight excluding pedestal dish 3.46 ozt (107.63 grams). (2).

The Edwardian bowl has a dent and distortion to foot rim, general tarnishing throughout and rubbing causing slight loss of definition to decoration. 1970's dish with general light areas of tarnishing and minor surface scratching. Hallmarks to Edwardian bowl are worn but legible, hallmarks to 1970's dish are clear.
