Lot Description

An early twentieth century Norwegian silver-gilt scent phial, the cylindrical body entirely with guilloché enamel in shades of pale pink and blue and silhouette scene of the fairy tale 'The Goose Girl', the detachable cover opening to a screw thread dispenser mounted on cork stopper. Marked 925, made in Norway. Length measuring 8 cm.

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cover is a little loose and the cork has now worn and is also loose. Gilding worn to the inner lip.
