A George IV silver snuff box, the oblong form with reeded edge, engine-turned base and flush hinged cover opening to silver-gilt interior. Hallmarked John Bettridge, Birmingham 1824. Length measuring 5.3 cm, weight 35 grams.

Condition Report
The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Noticeable rubbing and loss of definition, particularly to the engine-turned decoration. Minor dints, one corner dented. Gilding to the interior worn. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
