Lot Description

A late Victorian imported silver cream jug, of bulbous form embossed with bows and flower heads, hallmarked B Muller & Son (Berthold Muller), Chester 1900, height measures 4 inches (10 cm). Together with a George V silver sauce boat having scalloped rim and foliate capped handle, Francis Howard Ltd., Sheffield 1914, a Georgian silver sugar shovel, plus a small selection of silver spoons to include a George IV Fiddle pattern sauce ladle having crested terminal, Charles Eley, London 1825, three various condiment spoons, Victorian silver trinket box etc. Gross silver weight 11.48 ozt (357.1 grams).

Varied state. Overall items appear in fair condition displaying signs of wear and tarnishing throughout. Cream jug heavily tarnished and with light rubbing to embossing. Sauce boat with light surface scratching. Sugar scoop with damage and dent to stem, hallmarks are severely rubbed and so partly illegible. Other hallmarks all with wear but still clear and legible.
