Lot Description

Four items of pottery, comprising: a majolica cheese dome and cover in the style of George Jones; a Doulton Lambeth stoneware pedestal, of bulbous form having raised floral decoration in shades of blue and green and brown, with impressed mark to base, (s/d), 18.5" (47cm) high; a majolica tureen having two cherub head mouldings between two handles modelled as lions, raised upon four clawed feet, (s/d), and a majolica pot with raised foliate decoration, (4).

Majolica cheese dome and cover - Numerous small chips to top edge of dome and larger loss to top of dome, and small chips inner lower rim.


Doulton Lambeth stoneware pedestal - loss to neck


Turenne - Damage including but not limited to - Lions head handles have losses, and lions heads have both been reattached. Cherub mouldings have losses in the form of chips. Clawed feet are chipped. Rim has losses, one has been re-glued, rim also has fractures.


Majolica pot - All over crazing
