Lot Description

A brass gravity clock. Early 20th century, the 3.25-inch plastic dial with Arabic chapters and dotted minute track, enclosing partially exposed Brocot-type escapement, within brass drum housing, stamped verso 'BRITISH MAKE PAT. 15238/19", suspended upon twin ratchet-toothed rods beneath ogee pediment with twin urn finials on a stepped oblong base and bun feet, 10.25", (26cm) high.
