A French spelter and marble mantel clock, F. Moreau, Japy Freres Paris. The 3.5" white enamel Arabic dial, with two train movement, outside count wheel striking on a bell, numbered 97866, with figural surmount of History as a muse, holding pen and book entitled 'L'Histoire', upon a rectangular marble base raised on spelter mounts, 19.25" (49cm) high.
