A second quarter 19th century mahogany twin fusee bracket clock
The 8-inch cream-painted convex Roman dial inscribed "Thos. Saunders, Dorchester", the chain-driven twin fusee movement with shouldered plates, striking on a bell, the arched case with brass acorn finial to the stepped surmount over carved foliate and flowerhead cresting, canted edges, arched fish-scale sound frets beneath ring handles, and fielded panelled base with bun feet, 19.75", (50cm) high.
