An early 19th century mahogany cased eight day painted dial longcase clock, Moss Guernsey, the 12 inch break arch dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, framing a subsidiary seconds dial and calendar crescent above inscribed makers name, the spandrels painted with shells, the arch with fruit and flowers, knopped four pillar movement racked striking on a bell, the case having a swan neck pediment with brass and ball spire finials over termed columns, break arch long trunk door and plain base with plinth, 86" (218.5cm) high.

Condition Report
Dial has some blistering to enamel, plus minor edge flaking, movement does not have false plate, evidence of packing beneath seat board, case two worm holes to hood frieze, splits to one side of base, some old scratches to trunk door but generally sound.
