A 19th century pine-cased 8-day painted dial longcase clock
Broad, Bodmin
The 12-inch break-arched Roman dial with subsidiary seconds below XII, over calendar crescent and inscribed maker’s name, within floral spandrels, the arch painted with two huntsmen in a punt and a gundog raising game, the movement with false-plate (bell missing), the case with swan-neck pediment over long trunk door, plain base and plinth, 82.5”, (209cm) high.
