Lot Description

An early 20th century gold conch pearl, diamond and split pearl brooch. The oval conch pearl, suspended from an old-cut diamond and peach split pearl, with free-form conch pearl sides. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct, tinted colour, P1 clarity. Length 3.5cms. Weight 3.6cms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.


<li>Significant discolouration to the metal, may require professional attention.

<li>Some discolouration to the conch pearls.

<li>Conch pearls are a mostly light pink hue with some white and some deeper pink hues.

<li>Prncipal conch pearl with significant wear acround the circumference. Fine discoloured crack from the cap.


<li>Split pearl is a pinky orangey peach hue. Slightly uneven surface.


<li>Diamond appears tinted light brownish yellow with dark scattered inclusions.
