Three Japanese satsuma vases, the first of pear form having continuous scene of females within floral garden upon a cream glaze ground, 6.25" (16cm) high, the second having flat shoulder finely decorated with dual landscape panels of traditional buildings and elaborate blossom trees, 5.75" (14cm) high, plus a third having panelled decoration of gilt birds and foliage upon a matt black ground, 5" (12.5cm) high, each having character mark beneath. Each in overall fair condition with general light crazing to glaze. First example displaying slight rubbing and losses to decoration. Second and third examples displaying heavier losses to gilt decoration and third with small chip to foot.
