Lot Description

An Edwardian silver and tortoiseshell mounted jewellery box, of circular form having flower head, swag and pendent drop pique inlay to the hinged cover opening to reveal a lined interior, the whole raised upon three foliate feet, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons, London 1907, diameter measures 3 2/8 inches (8.25 cm). Together with an Edwardian silver pill box having gilt interior, a 1930's silver mounted nail buffer plus a 1960's silver cigar cutter.

The lot is in overall poor condition. The tortoiseshell box with heavy wear and tarnishing through with distortion to feet and knocks to body, hinge in working order and interior lining is worn and dirty. Nail buffer with general scratching and dints to silver and wear to pad. Other items in fair condition displaying general light signs of use. Hallmarks throughout are legible although with wear to those of tortoiseshell box.  This item may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
