Lot Description

A 1920's silver mounted jewellery box, having an initialled circular cartouche to the reeded cover with scalloped edge, opening to reveal a lined interior, the whole raised upon four short feet. Hallmarked Sharman D Neill Ltd., Chester 1926. Length measures 4 inches (10 cm).

Condition Report

The jewellery box appears in overall fair condition displaying small areas of tarnishing and with slight depression to edge of cover. The hinge is slightly loose but in working order and the interior lining is worn. Hallmarks are clear and legible with matching part hallmarks to the hinged cover.
