Lot Description
A set of six mid-Victorian shell and scroll silver table spoons having crest engraving to the reverse terminals, Chawner & Co., London 1854/74. Together with a matched set of six mid-Victorian silver Fiddle pattern table forks having initialled terminals, William Eaton, London 1839, The Portland Co., London 1860, and John Taylor, London 1866. Condition Report
The lot appears in overall good condition displaying wear commensurate with age and use. The spoons with light scratching to bowls and rubbing to terminals although crest engravings still clear. The forks with light scratching and areas of tarnishing throughout, four with matching E initial to terminal, another with JW and another with no engraving. Hallmarks throughout are clear and legible.
