Hinged lid appears in good working order, it closes firmly but is quite hard to open once closed. The hymn book is very worn and tired and the silver front has broken off completely. Some surface dints. Also slight dints to notebook cover. The notebook and pencil are likely not original, pencil is broken. Rubbing and wear to some of the hallmarks.
