The box displays general wear, surface marks and scratches commensurate with the age and general use. The silver is a little tarnished and there are several small dints to the base and around edges. Also some small knocks and dints around the slightly protruding lip of the lid. Hinges appear in good working order. Some minor nibbles and small chips to green inlay, mainly around edges. The hallmarks are located to interior and are clear and legible, also part hallmarks to lid.
