Lot Description

A small late Victorian silver vesta case, having leaf decoration with an initialled lobed cartouche, hallmarked Joseph Gloster, Birmingham 1897, length measures 4 cm. Together with an Edwardian silver match box case decorated with flower-heads framing an initialled cartouche and with a rope twist border, Deakin & Francis, Birmingham 1903, another silver match box case having engraved initials, possibly American, plus another continental example, marked 925. Gross weight 1.61 ozt (50.31 grams).
