An early twentieth century novelty silver and enamel vesta case modelled in the form of a visiting card 'The Rt. Hon Sir Edward Goulding, Bart.'. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co Ltd, Chester 1914. Length measuring 5.7 cm, weight 43.5 grams.

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Chip to the enamel on the bottom right hand corner, further smaller chip to the top left hand corner also general scratches present. Hinge in good working order. Hallmarks somewhat rubbed.
