An oval silhouette portrait with painted highlights, depicting a gentleman in profile, in rectangular ebonised frame under glass, with pinchbeck oval surround and suspension ring, paper backing reads 'Miers & Field 111 Strand London, [...]', 3" x 2.5" (7.5cm x 6.5cm), together with a hairbrush having raised foliate decoration and painted portrait miniature on ivory, depicting woman in black hat with blue ribbon and pink feathers, miniature 2" x 1.75" (5cm x 4.5cm).

Silhouette in fair condition, possibly some minor discolouration/debris to lower part of portrait.
Frame and with wear, including paint cracking and losses, and dents and knocks particularly to edges. Glass scratched. Pinchbeck worn and tarnished. Paper backing heavily worn and discoloured, with tears and losses, etc.
Hair brush in used and worn condition.
Please note miniatures have not been examined out of frames and glass.
