A George III silver cream jug by Hester Bateman, the pedestal form with bulbous body, initial engraving, beaded rims and scroll handle. Hallmarked Hester Bateman, London 1787. Height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm), weight 2.8 ozt (89 grams).
