A mother-of-pearl mounted visiting card case, having lozenge panels with florally engraved metal inset decoration and hinged opening to reveal faux silk lining with paper compartments. Measuring 4 1/4 inches (10.7 cm) by 3 inches (7.6 cm).

The case displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Large sections of mother of pearl missing from one corner. Hinge and clasp appear in working order although it feels quite loose and does not appear to close tightly.
