Lot Description

A George III silver snuff box, of oval form having an engraved shield cartouche to the hinged cover, hallmarked I T Birmingham, length measures 4.5 cm. Together with another late Victorian example having two cherubs amidst scrollwork to the hinged cover, import marks for Elly Isaac Miller, London 1900, plus a cased 9ct gold mounted cheroot holder having a plastic imitating amber body, London 1901. Silver weight 24.9 grams. (3).

Georgian snuff box with rubbing and multiple small dints and damage to hinge although still in working order, hallmarks are heavily worn and only partly legible. Victorian example with heavy wear and tarnishing, hallmarks are clear and legible with further indistinct continental marks beneath. Cheroot holder in good condition with minor scratching to gold mount and hallmarks are clear and legible.
