A late Victorian silver cream jug, of squat embossed form with crimped shaped rim and scroll handle, hallmarked Fenton Brothers Ltd., Sheffield 1899, length measures inclusive of handle and pourer 5 inches (12.3 cm). Together with a mid-Victorian silver sugar sifter spoon, of typical form with initialled Fiddle pattern terminal and pierced scroll motifs to the bowl, hallmarked George Unite, Birmingham 1869, and a silver caddy spoon with bright-cut decoration to the terminal, stem and interior bowl, hallmarked George Burrows (I), London 1800. Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of polish visible on the cream jug in between the decoration. Sifter spoon initialled 'S' to the terminal, the bowl appears slightly mis-shapen, vacant cartouches on the terminal and in the bowl. Hallmarks clear and legible, town mark on the sifter spoon not present assumed London.
