Lot Description
A pair of early twentieth century silver mounted candlesticks, each with filled silver base of circular form having a rope-twist border and rising to an oak barley twist stem, the plain silver drip-pan with cylindrical socket. Hallmarked Albert Edward Jones, Birmingham 1915. Height measuring 5 7/8 inches (15 cm).

Condition Report
The candlesticks appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying expected wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches. Slight edge knock to rim of one drip-pan. A couple of further minor dints. Some quite heavy wear to the coverings on the undersides of the bases. Some rubbing to hallmarks and maker's marks but still clearly legible. Also part hallmarks to undersides of drip-pans.
