A large 1930's silver sauce boat the oval form with scalloped rim interspaced with scroll accents, standing on three hoof feet and high foliate capped scrolling handle, hallmarked William Suckling Ltd, Birmingham 1930, maximum height including handle 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm). Together with another 1930's silver sauce boat of classic form, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd, Birmingham 1931. Gross weight 13.1 ozt (411 grams). (2).
