Lot Description
A 1920's silver mounted and tortoiseshell dressing table tray, the rounded rectangular form with applied plain silver rim and inlaid with a floral husk wreath motif to the tortoiseshell centre. Hallmarked Birmingham 1924, maker's mark worn. Length measuring 10 5/8 inches (27 cm).

Condition Report
The tray displays some general surface wear, marks and scratches and some tarnishing to the silver mounts, commensurate with age and use. A few minor dints. Some surface nicks and chips to the tortoiseshell with a couple of larger ones to the underside. Areas of the tortoiseshell appear quite dull or dry and would benefit from a clean. Hallmarks are a little rubbed but still legible, maker's mark very worn.
