An Art Nouveau silver mounted photograph frame, the shaped oblong form with whiplash outline and embellished with embossed chrysanthemums, on wooden easel mount. Hallmarked J Aitkin & Son, Birmingham 1909. Height measuring 8 3/4 inches (22.5 cm).

The photograph frame displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Most of the pins are missing. Wooden easel back with general wear, a thread has been added to restrict the arm. Hallmarks clear and legible.
