Lot Description

A French silver mounted small claret jug, the bulbous clear glass body with cylindrical neck and applied wrythen moulded glass handle, having an openwork silver mount to lower body with beaded and stiff leaf borders above a monogrammed spread foot, the applied silver neck collar with hinged lid and conforming bead rim. French assay marks to include Minerva struck to various parts and maker's mark for Prevost, Recipon & Cie (Maison Odiot), Paris (1894-1906). Maximum height measuring 8 1/4 inches (21 cm).
