Lot Description
A 1950's cased silver egg cup and spoon, the egg cup with stylised banding and engraved 'Hillary', the spoon with initialled 'H' terminal, hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1958 & 1960. Together with a cased silver christening set, comprising a fork, knife and spoon, each with foliate scroll terminals, hallmarked Gee & Holmes, Sheffield 1959, a cased silver souvenir spoon with golfing terminal and initialled bowl, a silver mounted embossed hand mirror and a pair of silver plated sugar tongs. Gross weighable silver 3.6 ozt (112.8 grams)

Condition Report
In good overall condition, the lot displays general marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing to the egg spoon, minor ripped area to the bottom edge of the case. The knife in the christening set has a stainless steel blade marked 'Gee & Holmes Ltd Sheffield England', threes piece stamped with RD number 868536, spoon and fork also stamped Made In England. Golfing spoon engraved 'E.R.G.C.' to the interior bowl. The embossed mirror has a vacant cartouche and is stamped 'Filled'. Hallmarks slightly rubbed but legible.
