Lot Description
A set of 1930's six silver teaspoons, commemorating hallmarks for each assay office, each with a crown terminal and within a fitted case, hallmarked Roberts & Belk, 1936. Together with a part set of six silver teaspoons, each with bright-cut stems, engraved date terminal and initialled verso, hallmarked A J Bailey, Birmingham 1910, one dated 1905 & another 1909, a cased set of six silver coffee spoons, each with a shell terminal, Sheffield 1917, three silver souvenir spoons and a singular silver coffee spoon. Gross weight 7.7 ozt (239.9 grams).

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The set of 1930's teaspoons are within a fitted red case which has 'British Hallmarks' to the cover and a breakdown of the assay offices to the interior lining, including London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Chester, Glasgow and Edinburgh. The part set of teaspoons are engraved 1909, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913 (looks to have been altered) and 1918. The set of Sheffield coffee spoons are in an un-associated fitted stained wood case, the 'York' souvenir spoon is also in an un-associated fitted case. One of the souvenir spoons is engraved 1902 with an applied profile of Edward VII to the interior bowl and royal cypher terminal, another is engraved 'As Trew Steel As Hippon Rowels' to the stem beneath a shield terminal. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
