Lot Description
A late Victorian silver christening mug, of circular tapered form with bright-cut floral and foliate motifs surrounding an engraved monogram, leading to a 'C' shaped handle, hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1884, height measuring 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm). Together with a late Victorian silver sugar sifter spoon, the pierced bowl leading to a twisted stem with foliate engraved terminal and vacant cartouche, hallmarked Birmingham 1898, a cased set of six Edwardian silver teaspoons and a 1920's silver mustard pot and associated condiment spoon. Gross weight 7.9 ozt (248 grams).

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Signs of repair to the stem join to the bowl on the sifter spoon, with crude floods of solder and loss of definition. No glass liner for the mustard pot, its hinged lid does not shut fully flush and a minor bump to the body. Minor marks and scuffs to the case for the spoons. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
