Lot Description
A St. Paul's Cathedral silver bowl to commemorate the 300th anniversary, the plain circular form to a footed base and with a gilded handle modelled as a phoenix. Hallmarked Jocelyn Burton for Aurum, London 1975, and further stamped Aurum, limited edition no. 176/900. In original fitted Aurum case with certificate. Maximum length measuring 6 7/8 inches (17.5 cm), bowl diameter measuring 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm), gross weight 7.97 ozt (248 grams).

Condition Report
The bowl appears tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Some general light surface wear, marks and scratches but otherwise in good overall condition. Clearly legible hallmarks located to the underside.
Also impressed to underside 'Number 176 of a limited edition of 900 made by order of the Dean and Chapter of St. Paul's Cathedral to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone in 1675.'
