Lot Description
A silver and silver-gilt commemorative goblet for Exeter Cathedral, the circular bowl with gilded interior and raised on a figural stem to a spread square base with fluted decoration. Hallmarked Hector Miller for Aurum, London 1980 and further stamped Aurum, limited edition no. 13/500. Height measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), gross weight 9.57 ozt (297.5 grams).

Condition Report
The goblet appears in fairly good overall condition. Some tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. General surface wear, marks and scratches. Wear and fading to gilding. Clear and legible hallmarks located to the underside.
Also impressed to underside 'To commemorate the work of Bishops Bronescombe & Quinil in the creation of Exeter Cathedral. Number 13 of a limited edition of 500 produced by order of the Dean and Chapter in 1980'.
