Lot Description

A 1930's silver salver, the circular form with 'Chippendale' style rim to a plain centre and raised on three foliate scroll feet. Hallmarked Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd., London 1939. Diameter measuring 14 inches (35.5 cm), weight 38.16 ozt (1187 grams).

The salver displays general tarnishing and some surface wear, marks and scratches. Particularly marked to the plain centre with numerous heavier scratches and contact marks visible and a couple of shallow dints. Otherwise in good condition. Hallmarks are clear and legible. The reverse also engraved 'Sam Lyon Junr Silversmiths Blackpool'.
