Lot Description

A mid-twentieth century silver three piece tea service, comprising teapot, twin-handled sugar bowl and a cream jug, each of squat bulbous form with banded decoration around the shoulders, hinged lid to teapot having a stained wood globular finial and with a conforming stained wood handle. Hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd (Richard Comyns), London 1967. Maximum height of teapot measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), gross weight 43.29 ozt (1346.3 grams).
