In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor bumps and dents to the silver collars, small yellow mark to the glass on one vase, maker's mark rubbed and worn but probably Henry Hobson & Sons, other hallmarks rubbed but still legible. The plated coffee spoons each have a different coloured bean terminal, the fitted case is in poor condition as it is missing its hinges and clasp so it does not shut securely. The Skeindhu has a removable sheath, some minor surface marks to the blade, the back of the sheath and Skeindhu are marked 1G in a circular punch alongside a copyright symbol, contained in a plastic case. The Oriental pot has significant areas of crude solder all over, especially to the applied motifs.
