Lot Description
A cased Edwardian silver eight piece condiment set of four open salts, a pair of mustard pots with blue glass liners and a pair of pepper pots, each of circular bulbous form to a footed base and embossed throughout with bead and scroll motifs within gadroon borders; matched with six late Victorian shell bowl condiment spoons comprising four salt and two mustard. All hallmarked Harrison Brothers & Howson (George Howson), Sheffield, condiments dated 1903/1905/1906 and spoons dated 1897/1899/1900. In fitted velvet and silk lined case. Silver weight including glass liners 16.07 ozt (499.8 grams).

Condition Report
All the pieces appear in good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing and light surface wear, marks and scratches. The glass liners appear jammed in both mustard pots and one liner is badly chipped around the rim. The hinged lids of both appear in good working order, one rises very slightly when in the closed position. No glass liners to salts. Spoon bowls were all likely gilded but are now faded. Hallmarks and part hallmarks are all clear and legible with some minor rubbing. Case appears in good overall condition with some general light wear.
