Lot Description
A 1960's golfing trophy of tapered circular form, surmounted with a lady in a putting position on a grassy ground upon a turned wooden base, the applied silver plaque engraved with a presentation inscription beneath engraved initials. The plaque is hallmarked Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1961, figure appears unmarked. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of polish visible would benefit from a clean. Some heavy scratches to the wooden base. The plaque appears tarnished and is engraved with the presentation inscription 'Mixed Foursomes (Runners up 1961) Mrs W. G. Wallace & G. Cotterell' beneath the initials 'A.G.C'. Fixture screw visible beneath the base. The plaque is hallmarked Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1961, the figure surmount appears unmarked, hallmarks clear and legible.
