Lot Description
A George IV silver cream jug, of circular bellied and lobed form with engraved monogram and foliate capped handle, hallmarked Richard Pearce, London 1823, height measuring 2 6/8 inches (7 cm). Together with a late Victorian silver cream jug, of circular florally embossed form with oblique fluting and twin opposed vacant cartouches, the curved handle with heart terminal, hallmarked Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson), London 1891. Gross weight 6.7 ozt (211 grams). (2).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor bumps to the lobed decoration. The gilded interior of the Victorian example appears quite dull. Remnants of polish visible. Hallmarks on the George IV example are slightly rubbed and worn but still legible, the hallmarks on the Victorian example are hidden amongst the embossed decoration and are quite worn but just about legible.
