Lot Description
A modern silver mounted wine coaster, of circular form with engraved personal inscription and turned wooden base, hallmarked London 1978, maker's mark partly distorted probably A Chick & Sons Ltd., diameter measures 5 inches (12.7 cm). Together with two modern silver armada dishes of graduated size, hallmarked London 1986 and 1992. Gross weighable silver 3.4 ozt (106.5 grams). (3).

Condition Report
In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The wine coaster is engraved 'To Dennis H. Cook on his 50th Birthday from the Staff of Arnold Cook Ltd. 29th July 1978.', the wooden base appears slightly loose with remnants of polish beneath, also some noticeable dents to the silver. The larger armada dish has maker's marks for William Comyns & Sons Ltd., and is further marked 'Comyns London' beneath the base, it also has some tarnish lines. The smaller armada dish has some sticky residue to the edge and also some small tarnish lines. Hallmarks clear and legible.
