A modern Irish silver model of a rugby ball, of elongated form with realistic leather stitch detail upon a circular stepped base, previously mounted. Hallmarked T Weir & Sons, Dublin 1997. Height measuring 6 inches (15.5 cm), weight 9.5 ozt (296 grams).

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Significant dent to the top of the ball. There are four holes beneath the base, one with screw thread which would indicate it was previously mounted, possibly on a trophy. There are also some deep scratches beneath the base and some file marks around the edge. Remnants of polish visible in between the stitch detail. Maker's mark slightly rubbed, other hallmarks clear and legible.
